Since its beginnings in 1984, the Pacific Center for Spiritual Formation [PCSF] has sought to offer opportunities for individuals, groups, and congregations to experience a deeper awareness of God. Rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition, ecumenical in composition, and committed to interfaith practice, PCSF is a resource for contemplative enrichment in the San Francisco Bay area.

PCSF sponsors a number of events throughout the year. Such events range from presentations by special speakers such as Marcus Borg and Houston Smith, to yearly retreats for spiritual deepening, and on-going contemplative practice groups throughout the bay area. In addition, we offer programs that foster spiritual growth, renewal, and healing.

PCSF staff include church and lay leaders, professionally trained spiritual directors, and retreat leaders. Some PCSF staff are available upon request to provide retreats and programs for congregations.

Pacific Center for Spiritual Formation is a non-profit religious organization. All who wish to participate are welcome. We seek to make our offerings as affordable as possible and also offer scholarship funds to those who need them. We welcome charitable donations to support our work.
